Last Bot Standing #4 - colored pencils on toned paper. This cover is particularly time consuming because of layers after layers of colored pencils to build up the value, plus incorporate the logo into the actual artwork might be the first time that I have done something like this on a cover. Last Bot Standing has big Western tone, when I worked on the covers, I wanted to convey the feel of old Western film. I looked to the old movie posters for inspiration. The old movies poster often have great story elements that represent the movie well. I haven't seen the movies of the poster that I inspired by.
