Concept: Bucky turning on the fireplace channel every morning at Christmas (my mom does, it's cute)
so if this is in Hands of Clay, Bucky does this to circumvent Natasha’s demands that they light a fire in the fireplace (which is bricked up and anyway Bucky’s not too sure about the structural integrity of a hundred and fifty year old house’s chimney.
The Christmas after Clint and Steve move in, Steve sets up his laptop in the fire grate to show the fire log video on Netflix (there’s like four on there right now) and it’s all super cute.
If this is about MCU Bucky, then he spends Christmas morning trying to remember what it was like, Before, and he finds that if he turns on the Fireplace channel and turns the heat way up and closes his eyes, he can almost, almost, remember his family.
