1.) Which canon character is pissed off by the general presence of your OC? (we all have those people) - for Xo'to

This answer correlates to Xo’to’s pre-ceromorphosis host, Falann! So aside from their enemies (Thorm, Orin, what’s-his-puffy-face-tyrant-bitch), the one character that absolutely despises Falann/Xo’to’s guts...is Mizora. She cannot stand their entire personality. They outright rejected her advances - very kindly I might add, but it only made her madder. They’re still polite and kind in spite of all her bullshit and desperate grabs for control over Wyll, ask her how her day is, would she like some mince pie, where is she sleeping, she hates hates HATES THEM. 100% wants to see their soul crushed, devoured, then spat out. Utterly disgusted they’d rather fuck a 7ft space squid than HER.

2.) Does your OC have a crush on anyone? - for Bones

Wrathbone - aka “Bones” as his known and favored nickname - is actually ace/aro and has no infatuations on anyone at this time! He actually gets uncomfortable with flirting from strangers, though close friends can get away with mock-flirting. He’ll just roll his eyes at them lol

3.) Who would your OC most likely to get a puppy-crush on? (but it can’t be the cc /oc they’re actually shipped with!) - for Larik

Larik, despite being a romantic, doesn’t fall for people easily, but for a puppy love crush? It’s a bit of a toss up between Gale and Halsin! Gale because Larik has a huge soft spot for nerds, and Gale is a fellow romantic, and a very empathetic and soft sort of guy. Halsin because of his own brand of tebby-bear softness. Larik is more liable to have a crush on Gale though, as he does have a certain type, and does overall prefer someone smaller he can hold more easily. Halsin has too similar a build to Larik and wouldn’t be as easy to pick up lol

He would also ADORE Karlach for just being herself overall, but they’d definitely make better BFFs than lovers.

4.) Who has your OC made cry? - for Hal

Interestingly, Hal hasn’t really made anyone cry across the fandoms he’s been transplanted in. At least not in a personal sense. He has technically brought suitors to crocodile tears when he rejects them, but those were more for manipulation than actual hurt. He’s delivered bad news that made people cry, but he himself has never done or said anything to make someone hurt so much they cried. He’s actually very tactful when it comes to potentially hurtful topics, though he does have a three-strike rule for those who keep pushing it.

5.) What is the worst thing your OC does in their story? - for Xo'To again

In their OG story? The worst thing Xo’to has done that haunts them to this day is consuming the brain of a child. After being abandoned by their illithid exploration party, they fell into the underdark and were severe injured and concussed - the upside to this head injury being it damaged a part of their brain that creates susceptibility to Elder Brain enthrallment, so now they are essentially immune. They were captured though by Lolth Drow and thrown into a containment prison where they would be used as a potential slave. They endured torture of all sorts, and of course, starvation. They were barely a juvenile at the time, and so hungry they were delirious. One day, someone - a child - was thrown into their cell. They don’t recall when it happened, only that, when they woke up, the child was dead, and had a hole in the back of their head, and Xo’to was no longer starving. 

They never forgave themselves for the slip in control, and to this day are haunted by memories of the child’s sobs and cries for their mother. Somewhere are faint memories of them begging Xo’to to let go, they were hurting her, please don’t...

In their BG3 arc, the worst thing they did was decide that their affection and loyalty to Emperor was more important than freeing Orpheus. They never recovered from that, and the Emperor has quietly expressed regret for not taking Xo’to’s pleas and at least trying to reason with Orpheus before taking drastic measures. This may in fact be the catalyst for their strain/breakup qwq

(Though in my own meta/fanfic verse, Xo’to does succeed in convincing Emps to stop being a prideful prick and TRUST THEM and try the peaceful approach first, you raging octopus fuck hole).

Summary:

I've compiled a list of planets that exist in the universe of In The Ocean of Stars. Most of these planets are going to appear or be mentioned in the first book. As the series goes on, I will be adding to this "codex" of sorts, and hopefully finding a proper star chart creator to actually show you guys how these systems and planets look in the universe they're in!

These planets are going to be listed from being human-colonized to being mixed-species, to homeworlds. You'll find that there are plenty of human colonies in most parts of the galaxy!
