Lore:

There are 5 sections of the world: The Seven Families, Supernatural Happenings, Out on the Town, Uni Side, & The Residentials.

The Seven Families: Where the seven richest, most prominent families live. For their ancestors' deeds in the past, each family is cursed with one of the seven deadly sins. Every generation cannot escape their most vile traits. Because of their low profile, the townies do not know of their curse. And they like to keep it that way.

Supernatural Happenings: The old monsters that cursed the seven families still watch over their suffering from nearby. No one knows who they are. Unusual events often happen here. Yet, many townies are content to stick their heads in the sand no matter what.

Out on the Town: One side of town has all the hangouts, restaurants, clubs and bars.

Uni Side: This where you'll find more traditional lots. This family friendly area has a technical college, fraternity, and sorority.

The Residentials: The largest are on the map. Includes an Off-campus housing community, apartment buildings, and a nursing home.

Note: "Daiku Life" in the Out on the Town area is the criminal warehouse. Unfortunately, EA combines the movie theatre I used with that career. Just ignore the prebuilt one and use Daiku Life instead. There are two fire stations. Feel free to delete the one farthest from you…or if you're feeling chaotic, the closest.

Known Issues: -There are lines around the ocean of the world (This is possibly due to an improper terrain import and can be ignored, as it doesn't affect gameplay. It also shows up for other custom worlds, so it could just be my pc, or something else. Just keep it in mind.

-Some lots went through several versions of the map and therefore the terrain is not completely even. Most lots do not have this issue. However, if you choose to build, make sure the lot is leveled first.

-Sometimes the house icons won't show when you move in households. It does not mean they aren't available. Most of the available households are apartments & trailers. Hovering the mouse under the house will highlight the ones available.

3rd Update 9/10/2025*

I'm removing public access to D7 world because I am no longer satisfied with the state it is in now that I have improved my world building skills. I will eventually build a new world with less cc, better routing, and better buildings. Thank you for those who gave my little rinky dink world a chance. Hopefully, I can build something more beautiful and better with the same concepts that can live up to my imagination, which this version no longer can.

*2nd Update 1/3/2025*

Second world Update is in .world file only. I'm still fixing a few lots that had tears. Some lots were removed for smoother gameplay. Removed ports because of potential lagging. I recommend using NRASS GoHere to stop the frequent boat usage. Fixed a few routing issues. I have been using version 2 for several months and testing playability. Highly recommend downloading this version instead of 1. I'm only keeping the link for version 1 for those interested in the deleted lots.

First, I want to apologize for the amount of custom content I used. I use limited amounts of cc, plus my own. I never thought the list would get this long. I just built as I wanted and thought my ity-bity cc wouldn't amount to much. This is why I recommend users that have most/all EA premium content. I used Blam, which playtests well in game for me. I did include some of my unreleased cc in this world. This my first world, and I feel kind of proud that I managed to finish. While I enjoyed making this world the first few months, three restarts, one total loss, lots vanishing, CAW crashing, and countless other issues later, I am so glad to be done with it. This is technically still beta, but for now, consider it finished. I will never make another large world again. If you encounter odd glitches, shoot me a message in my inbox. Otherwise....

Niua Simoa is a volcanic island, with one extinct volcano (Mount Totara), and one active (Mount Nikau). The island emerged out of the sea at some point less than 20,000 years ago, so it's quite a young landmass. Evenso, a rich coral reef has formed around the island since it emerged, and sand bars have built up atop that reef, forming islands (motu) around the lagoon. There is great fishing in the shallow lagoon, with a fresh water source flowing down from lava formation hills. The main township is small, and there are very few large houses. This island is a kingdom. Specifically, it is a constitutional monarchy, with the family Tapuwhai as heads of state. There is a Parliament, but its powers are tightly reigned by the royals. Public infrastructure is very poor, there is no art gallery or public pool, however foreign aid and private investment has ensured science, crime and other elements are represented in the economy. A major recent investment is the Waka Village subdivision, an attempt to lure wealthy overseas sims. This is a sim-made island in the lagoon with lots that sell at a very hefty premium, although they provide lovely views to make up for the cost.

Port La Forks is a small town (or three) nestled amongst vivid, green forests. The generally overcast climate is great for those who react adversely to too much sun and the wide open forested areas teeming with wild life are great for hunting (just don't hunt the wolves). There are three distinct cultural areas: the local reservation, with its beaches and fishing spots are very popular; the main township and the quaint, though not quite angelic, port area filled with charming shops and restaurants. While the geography of this world is based on the terrain of Washington State and the layout of the town (name and location of roads, buildings, etc) is based on the real Forks, Washington - this is, in fact, an imaginary version.

Textures: 13 textures used. No more than 8 textures per chunk anywhere in the world. Credits for custom textures under Custom Content.

Map Size: Large. Spawners: All the spawners up to and including Late Night are available except for regional dig sites. Some generic and fragment dig sites are available. Routing/Layers: Sims can route almost everywhere except steep terrain. The camera routes to the very edge of the valley, giving good panoramic views. At extreme distances the (two) distant terrains can start to clip out of sight, but this doesn't happen during most gameplay. The world file is divided into 6 layers. There are 13 textures in the world, but only a max of 8 textures per chunk. Recolors: This world features recolored and retextured objects, for example the Hospital rabbithole in Riverblossom Hills is slightly green, and the billboards feature characters from the world such as rock icon Tia Palm. These textures can carry over into other worlds if you load them immediately after playing Riverblossom Hills. It is therefore best to restart the game between switching neighbourhoods... ...unless you don't mind. :P  Lots: All necessary rabbitholes and community lots are included up to Late Night, excluding the Poolside and Dance Clubs. DESCRIPTION

If you played the basegame version of Niua Simoa you explored a temperate island, but times have changed. Several years ago a volcano erupted out of the ocean floor near Simoa, dramatically warming the local climate. Plant life on the island has thrived in the increased humidity, allowing bigger palms and brighter flowering bushes. The sudden increase in heat may, in fact, be exactly the event that will attract tourism to the otherwise quiet nation. With more tombs, a richer backstory, lusher vegetation, and the opportunity to escape the island and head overseas, this version is in many ways the definitive one. Niua Simoa is a volcanic island with a large coral reef around its edges. There are three local volcanoes. Mount Totara is extinct, and the site of an old fortified village. Mount Nikau is active, towering up in the centre of the island. The third volcano is unnamed, but it is out in the ocean, and the resulting steam has caused a permanent heat hase over the island.
