A rarepair(tm) that i like Similarities: - both screwed over by rose/the war (one directly, one indirectly) - both made big mistakes in their personal narratives - both turn other substances into weapons (bismuth metal and lapis water) instead of summoning their own and are very powerful - both attacked steven but he forgave them and will probably try to heal them - both were inactive from the war to very very recently Contrasts: - after being active again, they dealt with the subsequent change differently, bismuth dealt pretty well, but lapis did not - bismuth has the most character pallete colors and lapis has the least - bismuth is associated with fire and earth (lava) and lapis with water and air - bismuths personality and stature are big and brassy and lapis stature and personality are small and gentle - bismuth is very opinionated about homeworld and the war but lapis seems pretty uninvested in the specifics of the war Personal thoughts: I, personally, see quite a bit of potential in this ship. Lapis and bismuth could bond over the way things changed and how the war did them both badly. I think bismuth would probably apologize for poofing her and they could tell stories about the war from both sides. But other that, who knows how theyd get along.
