These pictures were taken during our weekend in the montafon (austria). We started in Silbertal (890m) and walked 20km to a lake which is about 2000m high. One thing special was, that we started only at 6pm our trip so most of our hike was in the dark. But luckily the stars shined so bright so we didn't even had to use our headlights. The next day we relaxed at the lake and walked the same way back. We had pretty good weather for a late september weekend in that height. During the night the temperature fell down to about 0°C but during the day it was wonderful sunny and warm. We even saw some marmots.I took the pictures with a Canon 5D MKIII and used two lenses: 24-105mm f4.0 and the 17-40mm f4.0.Â
