The temperatures have dropped a bit so it's time to pull out your layering pieces! I recently purchased this Old Navy maxi dress thinking that it could easily be paired with a cardigan, light jacket or vest! I really like how this look turned out. The vest is one of my favorite layering pieces!

The fit of this dress is great. I belted the vest to get a more polished look for work. A pair of basic black pumps completed my look. If I had a cute pair of closed-toe tan pumps, I would have rocked them. I LOVE these from Lands End. This dress will also get rocked with boots once the weather gets even cooler!

I think the warm weather is here to stay! *fingers crossed* I love wearing dresses and skirts, so I am pretty excited once the weather gets warm. I actually bought this dress last summer while I was pregnant during a J.Crew Factory sale and now, it fits! It was a little bit of a gamble, but luckily, I timed my being able to wear this dress with the oncoming of warm weather just right. LOL

Seersucker for spring and summer are classic and the "girly" details of this dress make me happy :)

This weather has REALLY been calling for some good options for a cute spring jacket to be in my closet. Although I love warm temps, I also love jackets! I'm sure I have at least three jean jackets! A cute go-to jacket for slightly cooler temps is great to have!

Nordstrom Payton Knit Jacket (also comes in blue, pink and yellow)- a cute little knit blazer can go a long way. It's great with cropped pants, jeans, skirts and dresses. A blazer is a great piece to dress up just about any look! This knit fabric is also very nice for spring.

Levi's Tucker Jean Jacket via Piperlime- I figured I'd toss in a link to a great jean jacket pick. My Lands' End Canvas jacket is about 2 years old, but this one from Levi's is super cute and similar. A jean jacket is a great piece for ANYONE to have--men, women, and kids of all ages. It NEVER goes out of style and is a great piece to accompany any casual ensemble.
