i was originally going to talk about another arthuriana ship but... that’s for another later date...

i don’t talk about them very often but they have a really nice dynamic! they definitely have potential and i like them, i don’t talk about them enough.

- their relationship is something like this: “gawaine, is that a knife in your pocket or are you just happy to see m- oh great he has a knife”

- hate/rivalry makeout sessions? absolutely.

- gawaine is taller although not by much (he’s the 6′1″ to lance’s 5′11″) and lance will use this as an opportunity to poke his cheeks/squish his face

-  they’re rivals but they’re also really dense about how disgustingly cute they can be sometimes

- lancelot’s #1 weakness is when people play with his hair. sometimes when they’re tired gawaine ruffles his hair and he melts

- so many little ways of saying they love each other non-verbally...

- sometimes... gawaine will (gasp) share strawberries - his favorite food - with lancelot.  

- arthur would 100% be lancelot’s wingman in a modern au. granted he’d be a wingman to pretty much any of his knights.

- they’re rivals-to-lovers but if anyone talks crap about gawaine lancelot will t-pose on them for dominance or even duel with them in the name of his boyfriend’s honor because. it’s lancelot and he’s Like That.

morcival

yesss!! i’ve always thought that especially after galahad’s death they’d have potential of becoming enemy-lovers or enemies-to-lovers. there’s the same sort of foil attraction you’d find with galahad and mordred, although my version of morcival is a bit more similar to homusaya from pmmm (tbh while i’m not the biggest homusaya fan, i feel like with morcival their relationship wouldn’t be as badly damaged and they’d potentially have more time to repair things compared to homura and sayaka)

arthur x guinevere

hmm… mixed feelings. i’ve always viewed their marriage as a political one, although i think that they could possibly be very nice together. at the same time, the whole lancelot situation comes into play and i can’t really see myself shipping these two unless guinevere is completely faithful to arthur. like… they could be nice together but unless they’re gonna become an ot3 with lancelot/the whole lancelot situation is averted entirely i can’t really see them together. i do respect the opinions of those who do 100% like them as a couple, though! just wanna make that clear-
