It's either a weeping willow for just the vibes of this tree beside water, branches hanging low enough kids pretend to swing on them. It's both playful and protective to me and I love it.

... I would apologise for taking a while to answer this but the question had vengance, moving that bit to the end so the answer to your question comes first.

In short, the drawing I wanted to redo um, was started but didn't happen, I hadn't thought about the type of leaves before you asked about it and now well... Here's what my hyperfocus created this morning

After you asked I looked through a book on trees I've got, picked 12 leaves I thought would be cool in clothes and rolled dice a few times to pick 3 from that list and then worked out how that would look in the clothes as I'd imagined them... by making the clothes. hyperfocus was not kind and shivering because I need to eat but have to sew is not fun, but I'm happy that we've got Esmeralda's outfit now. Although her hair is called red, it's more accurately described as the shades of fallen leaves so parts of it are dark to light browns, parts of it yellows, but evening out to be an orange amber colour overall.

Well I've said before Esmeralda is omnisexual but gender wise, if any of them are going to be resolute in her femininity, it's Esmeralda. She knows how humans view her and is happy in it because being fae frees her from any human expectations that would make her dislike it. While away from home, gender is purely opt in for her, so she does and at home it's barely a consideration to any of them.

If given the terminology both Frank and Lucy would have complexities around their genders.

Lucy would probably call herself a demigirl but take time to reach that label because 'what if it's all from the merging?'

Frank's search for a label on gender identity also has some questions over how the merging impacts him, but he remembers the time before it more clearly than Lucy, including that some of his feelings regarding his body were there before it in days he insisted on sharing Lucy's clothes. I had in mind that I'd heard of a label like nebulagender and had to look it up again (my books didn't include it annoyingly) but that fits Frank.

Lucy is a demisexual lesbian but doesn't often consider relationships beyond fighting people to push her into unwanted ones.

I'd say Frank is abrosexual but also not the most concerned about it. Keeping their family life peaceful is most important and who knows what dating could do to that.

Marcie would just call herself the crone. She wanted to be the woman on the edge of town doing her own thing. Gender is crone, sexuality doesn't matter because she's the crone. She ain't seeking anything but wouldn't argue if it happens.

Interesting question, love that you asked it, but not really. There are some poems that if I remember them I'll love the metaphors or feelings in them, love revisiting whatever they processed, but I've written a lot of poems just because it's part of my routine too.
