I don't know why I ever let myself get a.. well, not a confidant, he definitely isn't that.. we'll say second in command to make things easier. He knows too much, and we aren't exactly friends. I know what I was like when I was second. I always wanted to be first by any means necessary. I don't doubt for even one klick that he doesn't want the same thing - thankfully I know all the tricks in the book by now, but it doesn't change anything. I'm always ready for whenever he decides to try killing me, take my job as Ruler of Cybertron, blackmail me - whatever. I just hope I don't slip up.

If you called me Megatron I'd do far worse than punt you, I can promise that much. Also, a rat would say that - what rat says they're a rat? The snitching kind. Not the alt mode kind.

A snarl rises on dark lips, revealing the sharp points of Starscream's fangs. "Because, dear imbecilic Rattrap, were you to do your job properly, there wouldn't be bad news. Now, out with it. What's wrong this time?"

Starscream doesn't turn to greet the smaller mech -- he's too preoccupied flicking through flight frame models to bother with him. "Ah, Rattrap. Come to saddle me with more bad news, or are you actually doing your job?"
