31 Day Horror House- Days 6 & 7: “The Faithful Pet” and “The Head Chef.” Wiggles and Sous Vide
Just as Kitty attempts to usher you into a room, the hall fills with excited squeaks and angry bellowing. Rounding the corner skitters some form of plush rat-pig, hopping from wall to wall, followed closely by a streak of flame, rubber and metal, slashing wildly at the vermin.
Kitty Klock rushes you into the room with a hurried “Just a minute-” before slamming the door on you. You can hear her plastic feet chase down the hall after the other two.
The room you’re in is fairly plain, but clearly a bedroom with a small sitting space. Everything seems to be made entirely of living vegetation, which you try not to think much about. You decide to take a seat, and within minutes, the fuzzy creature from before loudly wriggles in through the room’s odd cluster of round windows, a length of sausages in it’s mouth. You try to back away, but the thing draws closer, dropping the meat from it’s needle-like teeth and onto the floor at your feet, before bounding over to the bed and settling down like a dog. The sausages are green and very gelatin-like. You’re not sure how to feel about this.
