"I've never labeled my criticism as constructive because I know fic authors won't change" so they're actively choosing to be a dick for admittedly no reason.

That person also doesn't have any content, is following two people, has one like, and their mobile header is a standard tumblr header - it's a fake account so they can keep hiding

@dearophelia They made that new account so can continue to troll writers. They've been leaving condescending comments on AO3, and after I posted screenshots on twitter, more and more writers shared the comments they received and called them out. This is just them, being a coward.

It’s an entirely different conversation re: why bullying is bad and that one basically boils down to the whole “I don’t know how to tell you that you should care about people” 

Especially when they are willing to say “I’m not discussing things to hope for change, I just want people to feel bad when they fuck up, based on my narrow definition of fucking up” but then seem confounded when everyone says “you’re a dick”

I am intrigued that Anon is apparently so gung-ho about THEIR right to criticize people for anything they care to, but gets defensive about you saying (politely) 'that's really rude tho.' You're not even criticizing them harshly and they hate it, and yet empathy is apparently still a foreign concept. :\

Honestly, the first 2 paragraphs (before the cut) work perfectly as a blurb in this case. This was absolutely lovely. (Just don't ask me about titles XD)

awww, thank you. And titles I have finally sort of beaten, because I have (arbitrarily) decided to use e.e. cummings poems for all my Shadowhunters fic. It is pretentious as fuck, but he gives me Malec feels SO WHATEVER... and also wow, so much less stressful. And I actually remember which one means which fic, which is us... not always the case when I get AO3 emails on my other fic.

Blurbs and tags are still awful. Though I did sort of go with a quote for this one. I think it works? idk. I cannot do an elevator pitch, reason 371938 why I am not a professional writer :D
