Today has been interesting:
A co-worker gave me a couple of postcards that her father brought back from when he served overseas during WWII. I still can't believe that she just gave them to me!
I gave my notice that I'll be leaving my job at the end of March. Scariest shit ever, guys. Luckily my supervisor is super nice and friendly and he made it really easy. He even suggested the possibility of a contingency position!
Grand Rapids (MI) is hosting a LadyFest event March 22nd-23rd that will feature performances by local and national artists, as well as workshops. I am so fucking pumped about this!! I have been waiting and looking for something like this. Any of you that are close to Michigan, you should come check it out! The venue will be the Pyramid Scheme and it's a super awesome bar surrounded by more awesome bars and restaurants and a great record store!
