Just as Arandoros was settling in for his evening glass of wine, a quick rap was heard on the door. A soft sigh came before he stood, moving to the door and opening it. Just outside was his assistant once again, looking nervous as he held out a box. "It's from Miss Sunspell," he said before Aran could even protest. Wordlessly Aran stepped aside, allowing Bemerren to enter and move past him. The young man moved swiftly down the hall, and a closing door gave indication to his retiring for the evening. Aran thought he smelled a bit of bloodthistle on the boy, and shook his head. Perhaps a bit of scolding was in order.
All the same he sat in his chair, opening the box and pulling out its contents. A note from Naivaria again? What could it possibl--"Oh. Oh no," he said with an amused smile, shaking his head with a small chuckle. "You kept it?" he asked the air, laughing again as he finished the note. "Lady Sunforge...Naivaria, you cheeky minx." He tapped the box, setting everything off to the side. Everything, that is, but the fabric she'd sent him.
It was small, but -definitely- a good color. "Oh my," he said, turning it so the low light of his chair-side lantern reflected at different angle. "Oh, this will make a fine suit indeed." With a satisfied smile he cast the swatch aside with the rest, flipped his notepad over and began to scrawl out his own letter.
"Lady Sunspell, your candor is always welcome. Upon examination of the fabric, I certainly agree that it is an excellent choice. I cannot wait to see what sort of magic your hands will be able to work. Until next we meet, A.S."
With a smirk, Aran folded up the letter and inserted it into another envelope. He walked outside, placed it in the mailbox and pulled the red flag up, signaling something to be delivered.
