Page 12. ---- Border Patrol Seize $3,000 Worth of Goods --- Lacolle, Que., May 22 - (CP) - A handful of coffee beans aroused suspicions of two keen-eyed border patrolmen yesterday. The result was the arrest of Camille Boudreau charged with possessing more than $200 worth of smuggled goods and the seizure of nearly 7,000 pounds of high-grade coffee beans worth more than $3,000, two trucks, several bags of sugar and an expensive U.S.-made radio.
Constables Dubord and Corriveau saw the beans wedged in a cranny of Boudreau’s truck when they stopped him for questioning. Their search took them to the property of a person whose identity has not been diclosed. They reported finding a truck loaded with coffee beans of similar quality.
