I lost the one who tore the sheath And witnessed the truth underneath Across an ocean of spirit I voyaged through the infinite

Before our hopes torn asunder Our hearts were beating together When my gaze was caught by the fray You had chosen to walk astray

My vision was obscured by smoke Clouds of air coalesced to cloak But I let the world grow darker Until I saw a flame flicker

The ocean now begins to clear A sound image of you draws near At long last, you came back to me I found myself smiling in glee

“I can’t seem to find any purpose for them anymore, now that they’re all starting to wither.” she said glumly.

He took the watering can sitting beside the entrance and took her by the hand. He slid her fingers around the handle and started watering the plants.

He whispered, “All you need is someone who will nurture each of them."

When they're done, she stared at the flowers longingly.

"I don't think they'll ever bloom again." she said.

"Not if we wait until the moment's right."

The sun has set and darkness begins to overshadow the skies, and he looked at her and said,

"I will wait until I see them bloom as your eyes always do.”

She moved close and their lips touched in the dimness of the garden.
