if     i     do     not     make     things     hard     to     understand     when     in     public,     there     is     a     massive     chance     of     getting     caught.     i     do     not     know     a     single     fucking     soul     around     me     right     now.     the     subway     is     crowded,     there     is     ten     people     waiting     for     the     train     alone.

if     i     were     to     speak     of     the     things     i     was     up     to     (     all     nefarious     in     nature,     rarely     am     i     NOT     up     to     something     i     really     shouldn't     be     ),     then     there     is     such     a     chance     i     will     have     authorities     alerted     by     some     asshole     who     just     couldn't     mind     their     business.

today     will     not     be     the     day     i     see     a     jail     cell     again,     nor     will     it     be     a     moment     of     agony     with     a     seventh     bullet     to     my     tissue     or     a     sharp     blade     to     my     spine.     not     only     for     my     own     sake,     but     for     the     sake     of     my     clientele,     the     pound     of     amphetamines     in     my     briefcase,     and     the     three     grand     Canadian     i     am     carrying     on     my     person.

as     would     everyone     surrounding     us,     most     likely.     some     of     them     unhoused     with     no     where     to     go     other     than     this     subway     station     beneath     the     Earth     for     warmth,     others     rushing     home     from     work     since     it     is     half     past     five     at     night.     i     really     just     wish     this     chick     would     mind     her     own     shit,     and     i     attempt     to     shift     away     without     making     it     obvious.     usually,     i     wouldn't     give     a     fuck     about     how     that     could     make     someone     i     don't     know     feel,     but     i     guess     i     am     a     little     bit     well-mannered     tonight.
