So I’ve had this Labyrinth comic downloaded ages ago and I’ve finally started reading it and ummm….I didn’t realize this was like a straight up movie adaptation. Like scene by scene, line by line. Idk why I thought this was like a sequel or spin off lol. It skips the songs from the movie which is kinda weird to me. I guess they didn’t have the space or budget to draw a few extra panels idk.
So you don’t add in the songs but not only that - you can’t get Jareth’s eyes right? I might be nitpicking but Bowie’s anisocoria is a pretty distinguishable physical trait and therefore unique to Jareth, adding to his “other worldliness” and you just make his a boring grey?
At least the old Marvel comics adaptation got it somewhat right 😂
