My newest favorite photo of my kid, @paxton.hsieh! P isn’t the most coordinated person in the world and so Brisa and I were absolutely shocked when he smoothly raced around the track like he’s been driving his whole life! The whole area is super busy with people and colors and distracting elements, so I wanted to channel my inner F1 photographer dreams and photograph P in a way that made him stand out. He completed 1 full lap, so I didn’t have much time to practice, but I went for it - The dramatic motion blur - that I always see in racing photography. It was such a perfect bonus that he looked like he was drifting coming back on to the straightaway. And just like that, my little dude started kindergarten today! Unbelievable how quickly time passes. I remember being so worried that he wouldn’t walk, then worried that he wouldn’t talk, then worried that he wouldn’t figure out potty training and just like that, he’s independent, kindhearted , a rule follower, and is picky about everything.
