The character I hate: dear ol’ dad hargreeves, OF COURSE. fuck that guy. (i love colm feore DEARLY as an actor, so my feelings about this are a testament to how good he was at being awful)

The character I would call if I was in trouble: ...lmao i would not call any of these disasters if i needed help. or. well. i’d call pogo. that’s right, i’d call the chimp for help before any of the kids. 

The character who I’m in trouble with: i can’t save you, klaus, but i will try!!!

The character I would trust to plan my birthday party: i would only trust grace/the robot mom, because she’s literally programmed to be nurturing and a caretaker, so she could actually plan something like that successfully.

The character I would share fries with: luther, just cuz i wanna see his giant hands trying to pick up individual fries. 

The character who would be my best friend: uhmmmmmmmmm...ben. no reason, i just wanna be best friends with ben :’) 

The character I would hang out with on a rainy day: number five, just cuz that’d mean we’d both get coffee and then he’d go somewhere else and not bother with me after that :’)

41. How do they feel about children?

gambon does not give one single hoot about children! he ignores them whenever he can and if he’s forced to interact with them he’s pretty unapologetic in how disinterested he is in them! why should he care about kids or, worse, babies? they’re not in his wheelhouse! this would probably be a different story if he hadn’t killed his One True Love and they’d ended up having a family together or some nonsense, but. well. he did do that, so it’s not a different story, and he’s pretty firmly anti-having-to-deal-with-kids!

if he had to take care of one, and they were too young to be left alone, he would actually willingly find jules, wherever she was, and be like “here: it’s a child. you know what to do with this.” and he’d leave the kid with her, with a promise of owing her a favour (and gambon’s one less-shitty quality is that he doesn’t lie about stuff, so he’d actually make good on that promise)

but if the kid was like...thirteen or older, he’d just give them cash and be like “go away and do stuff”

You can tell people about that and they don’t care, right? But, the other stuff, that you can’t tell anyone about? The stuff that gets your ass kicked and your ribs broken and you’ve gotta make up bullshit to explain? It’s…it’s hard. But I still do it. I still…just sew myself up, ice the bruises, and think up lies about what happened to me so I can keep doing what I do, since it’s what I’m good at. “I actually have a book I use for drawing up designs for projects I want to work on, and I’ve got a book I use for drawing up me as a superhero and I’ve got a book I use for drawing up my friends as superheroes. ...Kidding. Those drawings are in the same book as me-as-a-superhero.”

🍏- For something they secretly wish didn’t exist

“The board. I’d really, truly love to do away with it and everyone else on there, except for myself. But...that’s the goal, and I haven’t made the play yet, so shh.”

“When I visit the boys downstairs*, they’ll make references to things that I don’t know about at all, so I’ll make a point of looking it up afterwards so that it will make sense to me. It’s usually a reference to a movie or show or...whatever. I haven’t said anything yet to let them know that I’m in the know, but...one day day I will. Just to see how they react.”   

📒- For a secret journal/diary they keep

“Let’s just say that, if a lady were to hold a special place in her heart for someone that she can’t make known yet, she may so so inclined to write her letters in a book that will never see the light of day, and leave it at that.”

*”the boys downstairs” = newt and conrad and the handful of other dudes who all do R&D stuff that i really should get around to naming eventually. but mostly, she’s talking about newt.
