RLM, in essence, is about a group of sad, middle-aged nerds who only have each other as they come to grips with the fact that the film industry is trying to do everything in it's power to make the art form worse for “marketability” reasons, while the artists who made the art that the industry profits off of get fucked over in the process. They look upon the ouroboros with their bare eyes, the sheer intensity of the light radiating off the burning wreckage causing them to weep. They are unable to recover for even a second before the words “WHAT ARE NEXT” boom out like a bell tower, signalling the continuation of the self-destructive cycle for centuries to come. Also Mr. Plinkett's there.

Huggbees not being on Tumblr is a shame. He would absolutely do numbers on here.

A very, very minor nitpick I have with how DOAWK fan art depicts Rodrick's hair, is that it's usually the haircut he has in the movies. Which I have no issue with on it's own, the Devon Bostick cut is great! But I just wish we could see more variety. The way he's drawn in the books implies a buzzcut, so seeing him with one would be cool (although admittedly, Greg's drawings are probably not supposed to be 100% accurate considering the fact he drew himself with 3 strands of hair). Or since he's in a heavy metal band, giving him greasy long hair would fit that. I just want to see more experimentation on the designs of these characters, even if it's something small.

I deleted my two longer political/social justice-y posts from back in December, not because I disagree with them but because they were pretty badly written and kinda just regurgitations of things I've read elsewhere without fully getting. If I ever do write stuff like that in the future, I hope it's more coherent lol.
