This custom ring is 14 karat white gold with a lab created alexandrite and one melee diamond on each side! I love alexandrite and there are so many things I love about this ring!! Based on an actual Victorian ring we had in the store (the original is now sold and going to a new home too!), this ring is a little bit goth and heavily vintage inspired! We decided to put a spider web inspired motif on the sides (where there would normally be a more floral motif), because she really loves skulls, spiders, and spider webs, and she wanted something different but still classic when seen at a glance or from afar. 😁 🕷️ Alexandrite is a very cool pleochroic stone, which changes color between purple and green depending on the light it is in! It is very difficult to photograph (at least, my camera had quite a time with trying to capture the colors), so it is not actually quite as warm/red as it looks in the photos-- it's more of a cool purple that changes to a cool green. I love this ring, and I'm so happy for this wonderful couple!!
