Summary of Rust Findings Report
The Rust’s symptoms include white hair, pale skin, red eyes, hallucinations, excessive bleeding, rotting of the skin, coughing and vomiting up blood, and possible mutations.
It is a genetic disease that does not have a set cure. However, due to modern medications, we are able to delay its effects. It is a skin condition that also effects the immune system as well as blood. It also effects the mind and vital organs.
After the skin has began rotting, it turns more and more red and starts tearing and wearing away completely in some places, strange mutations start occuring on the body, such as the mouth taking up the entire face.
Sanity wavers until eventually completely lost
The symptoms get worse and worse until death but at times, the disease will cycle. The victim will enter full Rust then return to normal and flip flop between the two states. The more a victim turns into Rust, the less likely they will come back.
Rust is based on a combination of Necrosis, which is the premature death of cells in living tissue, and Hemolysis which is, is the rupturing of erythrocytes (red blood cells) and the release their contents (hemoglobin) into surrounding fluid.
Rust may also be similar to Vasculitis, specifically Kawasaki disease.
