I was thrilled a few months ago when La+ch broke a far too long silence with his first new material this year. The Toronto artist, one of several immense talents from a close knit group who dub themselves the “sideways collective”, has always dazzled us with his handle on unique and fresh R&B pop. He drops a welcome new “bomb” on us this week in the form of a coltish electronic bop replete with La+ch’s signature viscous falsettos. Bomb is an explosively hooking anthem that walks a fine line between pop and electronica with its brisk and kinetic groove. The song is the third track off La+ch’s next EP, None.
