if anybody else bought a WPBL hat and didn't like the A-frame shape, it's super easy to reshape!
I used steam from a small handheld steamer, but you can also use a tea kettle or a hair dryer. you want to steam the edges of the front panel where the seams are, which will loosen up the stiff buckram inside. do it one seam at a time. once you've steamed it for ~30 seconds or so, just gently press and hold it into the shape you'd like, and hold it until the material cools. do the same thing to the other side of the front panel at the seam. you can TRY to reshape the pointy peak at the top of the front panel but it's a bit harder, cuz that shape is actually sewn into the hat.
the red lines show the seams at the edge of the front panel I'm referring to. you can see that central seam coming from the button and toward the team logo - you MIGHT have a little luck with it, but I promise you'll have luck with the side seams.
after I did what I described up there, I steamed both sides of the front panel again and threw the hat on my head for a couple minutes, holding it gently to the shape of my head. it's not perfect but it's lightyears better than it was before!
