Iāve been after some non-brand pieces for daily wear so when I saw this dress on their website and I just had to get it! Itās even more gorgeous in real life and itās actually really well made <3

My only complaints are that the lace isnāt the best quality (tbh kinda expected with bodyline) and the arms are a tad tight, but other than that I canāt complain too much when it was only Ā£13.

Tried on my other new Bodyline dress that my husband got for me now that I've slimmed down a bit more post baby. Feels great to move around again without a giant belly. Phew! Loretta - a summer-friendly classic coord with Bodylineās floral OP! I think lace gloves would have been the perfect touch, but itās difficult to find good quality gloves locally; plus it looks kind of silly when everyone else is all but melting in the heat.

Thoughts on l585, below the cut.
I donāt have a lot of OPs from Bodyline, just three so far- but the sizing seems fairly accurate. The main fabric is a heavy textured polyester, side zip, grosgrain ribbon and detachable waist ties. It is a little baggy on me around the underbust and waist area, as with BLās size M in general. Corset lacing would ensure a better fit, but this fabric is so heavy it might be hard to add a shirring/lacing panel. The gold lace is a bit rough, but then thatās a given for gold lace. Itās not ugly looking, and suits the colors of the dress.
Downsides -
The collar fall doesnāt lie perfectly flat. Itās not an ironing issue. It might be that the pattern is off or the fabric wasnāt cut correctly and so wonāt fall properly. The sleeves are also very poofy; some people may not like that bit. Theyāre not at all constrictive when wearing the dress however, so you can move freely!
For the price I paid (BL sale) itās a very good buy. OPs arenāt the most versatile pieces, but in the heat of summer, wearing just one or two layers is a godsend.
