I know that letters are a bit overrated, but I’ve always been one to believe that words are more meaningful if written down. I can easily text you, thank you technology, but a letter will remain with you for a lifetime. I’m writing to tell you that I feel as though I don’t see you as often anymore. I shouldn’t complain, I mean I’m the main reason behind such rift, but I can’t help but do so. I miss you. I miss your radiant smile and the way you can easily make me laugh. I miss having that one friend I know will always have my back, no matter what it is I’ve done. I miss–––– you. My best friend, a sister. I am so sorry for not being better. I wish I could be. I’m trying. I don’t know if I’ll ever send this, seeing as though I might just be over thinking everything, but at the very least you’ll thank me for my honesty if I do. I love you, Sumin. Know this. Know that you will always be someone I hold dear. You will forever be the one I protect from harm and when life throws troubles your way, I’ll be the one to bring you back from the darkness. I hope that schedules ease and we get that spark in our friendship back but in case we don’t, I love you. Now and forever.
