I think the angst that's beginning to build here is that this whole ordeal is putting more strain on tord than he was prepared to deal with. The fact that he really doesn't know exactly what happened to the group and is their central support puts a lot of pressure on him. He feels maybe he isn't supporting them well enough, wonders what he could do better, meanwhile he has no one to put his own worries on bc compared to everyone else, his stress is trivial and doesn't matter

Gentle frost breath on Matt's heart, he still warms up fast enough to not suffer frostbite but it gives him a brief reprieve from the heat: of course, this is only a temporary solution
