It was weird seeing a girl riding a motorbike alone, without the tough guy in front driving. Especially when she was that good at it.
She stopped in front of the finish line and demanded to race. We laughed at first, but when she nearly drove over one of my friendâs bike and then got off her vehicle, we just⌠couldnât refuse her at all.
Long blonde hair framed her gorgeous body. Because hell if it wasnât gorgeous. Her legs⌠Oh she had legs. And guts. And that charm of a femme fatale you only see in movies.
I guessed she was filthy rich because, well, everything in Jessica just screamed âpowerâ. Power that came from the expensive leather suits she wore, the helmet with Swarovski crystals, the huge black Kawasaki she drove. Not to forget her grace, of course. Refinement that came from posh upbringing it was.
I fell in love instantly with how she rode that heavy bike between her strong thighs. We all did. But she chose me, from the first moment I felt it so.
I didnât drive. Iâve never been keen on such doings. I did like to travel fast and light, for which I needed money. What I did was manage the finances of the âownerâ of the street races on that side of town. I was good with numbers, and that had proved profitable over and over throughout the years.
She learned my name first. She called me KyuHyunnie in a half-demanding, half-adoring tone, and I learnt to crave for those âKyuHyunnieâ from her sweet lips.
One night she called me KyuHyun for the first time. We were at my place. Alone.
That night we kissed. Hard. There was no time for romance. Donât get me wrong, it was love what we sought. Our way of loving was just different, I guess. It bore no pauses, no breaks. Like Jessica in a race, like my eyes following Jessica fly with the wind.
She called me âKyuHyunâ one more time and then I was sure I had her.
She pulled away for air and stared into my eyes, smiling softly like Iâve never seen her do.
It was a smile she kept only for me.
Mine. All mine. Yet⌠One look into those wild seductive eyes, I knew she was the one who had me.
There had never been another way.
Hey, not that I'm complaining.

KyuHyun was the common nerdy guy you could find in any corner of a video game store. Pimply, scrawny, scruffy, straight As student, sucky at sports, antisocial, intelligent, sarcastic, at the bottom of the High Schoolâs food chain⌠you know, all that stereotypical stuff.
Jessica was the typical High School rich girl you could fine shopping at H&M at eight P.M. on a Wednesday afternoon. Popular, beautiful in the extension of the word, delicate, nice, friendly, just the right amount of snarky, smart but not too smart, with the whole world before her⌠you know, the girl of course KyuHyun was bound to fall in love with.
They had absolutely no reason, no right, to meet and get along, let alone date each other.
Yet⌠one day Jessica swung by the music room on her way to Gym and heard the most beautiful voice embracing her senses. When she peeked through the window and found out it was a geek with all of his shirt buttons done (KyuHyun, of course) who was singing, she nearly fell on her ass from the impression. Nonetheless, the passion and abandon with which KyuHyun sang, made Jessicaâs heart skip a beat, and she couldnât shake that sensation off for the rest of the day.
Yet⌠one day KyuHyun decided he should give himself a chance and ask Jessica out (coincidentally, it was after the night he had finished the last Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time stage and he was feeling nearly God-like). He walked over to her during the first break, coughing loudly to make himself noticed in the middle of all the people laughing around Jessica, who had just told a funny experience from her last trip to China.
âHey, I know this is sudden, and well, we donât really know each other⌠But the new cinema opened up last week and I thought maybe we could go catch a movie, what do you say? Iâll pay, you pick. It canât get much better thanââ
âOkay!â she said all too soon and cheerful, and everyone realized she had been actually expecting this. As KyuHyun walked his way back to his own friends, whose shocked expression mirrored Jessicaâs friendsâ, he did a little dance in his head and reminded himself of asking his sister for some fashion advice.
The rest, as they say, is history.
