While he doesn’t have formal training, he was taught how to fight from his father, starting when he was young, and all the way through high school. Even still they some times spar (they don’t really go win/lose, but more so just practice fighting)
Kadota prefers punching over kicking; punches are faster, and while he can reach people’s heads with a kick, punches are easier to land for a knock out punch that he apparently has (please read his epitome of 18 histories story if you haven’t it’s very important to me)

Well he doesn’t beat someone up for the hell of it???? He does is because they’ve either challenged him, or because they were threatening him/someone else. Though I guess that’s what got me at neutral too, if i’m understanding you right... he’s fighting, and not just ignoring it/ calling the cops, yeah?
They have a loyalty to to Kadota for /something/ he did (i pray for the day we find out truly though Erikararara’s got the best headcanon about this and it’s important to me he essentially saves them and then they just stick with him from there on out) so i guess i can’t really say much on them honestly.... because what was the context of their friendship??? He’s kinda their moral compass though, and keeps them from going too far

ok so like
Kadota in my head doesn’t have a favorite anything really. Like I guess sometimes he does but
No holiday particularly trumps the other? (mostly bc all of them are spent looking out for his kIDS )
So imma try and pick some holidays and talk about things he does bc it’s usually the same
of course what this becomes is a bunch of van gang headcanons bc kadota loves his van gang you know?
Halloween is the only time of year kadota comes remotely close to cosplaying (actually he would cosplay, since it’s less weird for halloween, so he doesn’t mind but they gotta be cool and not something involving a ship eRIKA PL EASE) BUT HE HAS FUN LETTING ERIKA AND WALKER HELP HIM GO ALL OUT FOR A COSTUME (ie please look at vampire kyo he has nails that art sharp and red like he didn’t do that on his own) but there’s not really trick or treating in japan so they buy some candy and maybe go to a costume party or something maybe just tell ghost stories in the back of the van in some abandoned lot with a flash light (Togusa was mad when erika and walker tried to make a fire)
and he just has fun goofing around with his friends that day
Christmas, compared to when he was a kid, has become more of a thing in Japan? so for this reason he’s getting used to but kinda diggin that spirit everyone has going on but he’s low key about it
secret gifts that people really wanted that the guys wanted (but had brought up offhand). he doesn’t tell them it’s him he kinda just drops em off and leaves but they all know it’s him (he gets some nice gifts too) they probably
probably tries to get something nice for shizuo and celty and shinra and maybe the raijin kids cuz they hang out with them sometimes?)
The gang who’s all on nice terms with Kyohei’s dad, go to his house for dinner (maybe invite Togusa’s family bc you know what the more the merrier) and enjoy a meal together and it’s a fun time.
this got long oh boy but!!! kadota just likes to relax and do things with his pals bc A) he has no other friends B) they’re important to him as he is to them

This is an old one but if u give Kadota any spicy food u’ll have a really bad time like he can handle it but it does not go down well clear the way buy lots of febreeze my guys ur in for a bad time
He’s also not spectacular at cooking, but if you give him enough chances with a dish, he’s sure to figure out how to make it for you,
This is canon he’s not that good with a fork and knife.
So as headcanon he’s killer with chopsticks tho like one time he caught a fly with em he didn’t eat it tho.

Unlike in his teen years, Kyohei was a lot more excited as a kid. And he was also quicker to stick his nose into things that didn’t concern him, in order to do the right thing. So he kinda became the playground bully savoir, and got into a couple of fights (well, more so, he defended himself, only really fighting back when he was forced to) (Dadota wasn’t really ever mad for these instances, because Kyohei only wanted to help, but the school tended to give him detention for this). Though he did become a sorta hero on the playground, and people left him alone after that.

He’s mostly a fist fighter and doesn’t really use gloves or brass knuckles or anything like that, but if by some chance he has the white wrap/tape (boxing tape idk what it’s called) then he’ll use that.
