Jin held back a scoff. He wasn’t in trouble any more than anyone else aboard the ship. He was worried about grand things, things outside of his control, things not even the heir to the Skywalker line could change. Some things were inevitable, he figured. War might just be one of them.

He made a dismissive gesture with his hand, face scrunched up in a kind of distress he tried and failed to hide. His eyes stayed down or to the side, avoiding the other’s gaze.

       her  death  meant  many  things  and  whoever  is  successful  in  TAKING IT  would  gain  a  lot  from  it.  loyalty,  armies,  wealth,  land,  FEAR,  and  the  attention  of  the  republic—which  seemed  to  be  the  one  thing  many  of  these  radical  groups  seemed  to  be  seeking.  many  have  tried  but  none  have  come  as  close  to  actually  accomplishing  such  a  goal  as  kylo  ren  had.  whether  he  intended  on  taking  advantage  of  such  a  moment  was  still  up  in  the  air,  but  the  matter  still  stands  that  the  queen  was  in  a  uniquely  precarious  situation.  she  did  not  fear  death,  but  she  feared  leaving  behind  a  planet  that  was  left  up  for  grabs  by  dangerous  forces  that  sought  to  exploit  it  for  everything  good  it  had.
