One of my favorite fics of all time is How High The Moon by kyliselle. It's a Kirk/Spock fic, and set after the events of the 2009 movie. I adore this fic to pieces - I'm sure I've read it more than 20 times by now.

So I will be honest, this is the one and only Star Trek fic that I genuinely got into. I have no idea how I found it (it was originally posted on LJ) or why I was reading Spirk to begin with (I have seen one of the new movies, maybe two?) but god, do I love this fic. Just classic pining and soul bonding h/c. Heck yes.
Hilariously, the font that I found to go with this fic is called Soulmate. If that wasn’t meant to be, then I don’t know what is.
I would love to send the author a copy as thanks for writing this story and haven’t had much luck contacting them. Please let me know if you can pass the message along somehow!

Kirk feels Spock is getting more bossy by the hour, especially towards him. Finally he couldn't stand it anymore and ask for help. Someone (doesn't matter who) told him its because Spock is sexually frustrated, as a joke. But for whatever reason Kirk thought it was very logical, so he make moves on Spock. Writer can decide what happens next. As long as they end up having wonderful sex!!! (thread)
