I'm really hoping they don't use the SDC artstyle at all. It was good for that part, but that's it. After that the art style gets more cartoonish look? If that's the right word. But like there's a lot of average build people in DIU so it would just be really weird to use the style idk.

Ah yes i know what you mean and yeah, i also think the sdc artstyle would probably look a little bit weird for diu characters (esp the face mark thingy?) but anyway David Production have been doing a great job with everything so if they really do decide to go with the sdc artstyle they’ll probably adapt it so it doesn’t look weird

I was going through your blog and found out you like Jojo, which is like super fantastic! At least the people who are animating Jojo actually put their hearts out when doing their job. Plus a lot of them are fans of the manga so it would make sense. I just wish Toei put at least half the effort like that into smc. Don't any of their animators love sailor moon as a whole and want to make this the best they can? Well, maybe they have but after seeing this they probably gave up :// Have a good day!

Jojo is amazing!.

To be honest, I don't think any of the animators are 'fans' of Sailor Moon, they're just doing their job in order to get paid.

It's not like they're doing their best to make the best animation possible, that would be the director for each episode tho.

And even if the director cared, they don't really have much resources to make it look any better (despite the huge amount of money TOEI is getting from the franchise).
