I remember it vividly now. I woke up as scared as I’d ever been one night and I can still recall how terrible of a feeling I had. It was because of a grotesque nightmare. You comforted me and swore that what happened in my head would never happen in real life and I believed you, going to sleep as happy as I’d ever been and as I did every night. It did happen in real life and I realized that just now. Life has it’s way of warning you but people always have their ways to blind you. I still wish it would have turned out differently but rivers always reach the sea.
