8, 14, 20, 31, 44, aaaand 45 to give us a sneak preview of some #Content we all deserve?!
8. what time are you most productive?
Any time after, like, 8pm lmao. This goes for schoolwork and writing fic, but like before that I Drag My Feet so much to do anything! But one 8pm hits??? I can write So Much. (This also means that I have an Awful Sleeping schedule and that I subsist on coffee and pure rage at myself in the mornings but sacrifices for the creative process you know.)
14. easiest character to write
Similar to the hardest character to write, if you had asked me in January I wouldnât have said this, but 10000% itâs Brittany now. Like. I donât know if itâs because I worked so hard to Understand her or if something just Clicked at some point, but Brittanyâs voice comes really easily to me now so. Sheâs both the easiest character to write for me and the most fun because I just love her and her voice a lot!!! (Special shoutout to Santana though. I feel like I Always got her voice from the beginning just because I related to her storyline so much. (Not that I was mean and popular when I was a closeted teen though lmao, I just had this very specific image of myself when I was closeted that Wasnât Who I Was at all, so.) Which makes Brittana so much easier to write when I feel like I Get the voices of two characters who make up the ship lmao.)
20. favorite character to write
Okay, again, itâs definitely Brittany but since I just talked about her, and Santana, aside from those two itâs probably Mercedes! Sheâs just like, the Most Put Together of the glee club and the one Most Likely to Side Eye everyone elseâs Messiness and I Love That about her. So outside of Brittana, itâs 100% Mercedes to write. (Special shoutout to Maribel though as well because, even though I donât write in her pov very often it feels like Iâm stepping into my momâs shoes of knowing youâre raising a gay kid but also knowing not to push them. When I came out to my mom she told me âduh, I was just waiting for you to catch upâ and honestly? That gave me A Lot of insight into her raising me over the years, and it allowed me to see that while I was struggling, she was too because she didnât want to push me further into the closet, so she just patiently waited all these years and supported me where she could when I faltered. This is turning into a special shoutout to my mom (who Deserves it tbh), but basically all of this gave me the insight and ability to write Maribel too, so.)
31. easiest part of writing
Oooooh thatâs a hard one tbh. Um, I would say editing but that can be Difficult sometimes too lmao. For me, I guess fic titles maybe? Like, I usually have a fic title from a song lyric long before the fic is even a couple sentences done because thatâs usually what inspires me for said fic. Oh! Another one for me personally is, like, writing the tiny details of a scene or characters moving. Like dialogue and plot comes hard to me sometimes, but being able to imagine a scene and characters moving around in a scene is so easy to me for some reason. Like I might not Know whatâs going to happen next, but I sure as hell know which part of a characterâs fingers are twitching and how people walking down the hallway sound bouncing around an empty classroom.
44. do you write linear or do you write future scenes if you feel like it?
Lmao fuck my writing process is All Over the place. Like Iâll be writing one scene and have an idea for another scene and quickly hit enter like seven times and write that scene (or whatever tiny part came to my head). My docs are a Mess until I finish the fic. I jump around A Lot when I write, and usually my process is something like small chunk of a scene here, some new lines, a large chunk here, some new lines, two lines here, and then some new lines and an entirely new scene here. Most of my writing is literally just me writing transitions between two scenes that jumped into my head and I furiously wrote down.
It usually looks something like this with dumb notes throughout and me jumping around a whole heck of a lot:
britt and santana on first sleepover in santanaâs and maribelâs new house â> a week after britt and santanaâs first kiss
/
/
Brittany shifts again and her knee brushes Santanaâs bare thigh and promptly bursts into so many tingles Brittany briefly wonders if it had fallen asleep and Santana had just woken it up. âYeah, like youâre still kinda sad that heâs not around but youâre likeââ Brittany sighs in frustration when she canât find the words sheâs looking for. âItâs like
/
/
/
Santana is silent for a moment, and Brittany can almost see her thoughts even though itâs still pitch-black in the room. âYouâre a genius, Britt-Britt,â Santana finally says, and Brittanyâs skin heats up right from her ears all the way to her collarbone.Â
âYeah, well,â she mumbles. Santana shiftsÂ
/
/
/
/
/
âBritt?â Santana breathes.
The next flash of lightning shows that Santanaâs face is a lot closer than Brittany thought it was, eyes wide and deep, and it sends something deep within Brittanyâs chest fluttering like a thousand butterflies are slamming into her ribs.
45. share the synopsis of a story you work on that you havenât published yet
(Fuck you caught me I donât really have Any ongoing wips rn lmao)
I have a request for the s6 newbiesâ views on Brittana that I really wanna write. Iâm working on the next (and final đ) seasons fic too right now (which covers spring, like circa 3.15 to graduation; also spoiler alert Brittany is graduating and there will be no sex tape so). And I also have an interlude of sorts planned within the same universe that covers Brittanaâs first kiss and Maribelâs divorce from Santanaâs father and their move to the house in Lima Heights Adjacent (which is basically me trying to explain the showâs canon for Santanaâs family within the context of how I write them, so (thatâs also what the example of my process from the last question is from)).
So because I have like Nothing to share rn, Iâll give you the current first part from the next seasons fic instead lmao:
//
Santanaâs pretty sure stargazing is, like, the most stereotypical lesbian date ever, but she canât really find it in herself to care; not when Brittanyâs curled against her, pressed all along her one side, warm and sleepy, their curfews lifted for the night for once, laying in the field beside the train tracks a couple neighbourhoods away from Santanaâs house. She thinks both of their parents feel guilty about the whole thing with Karofsky, and then with Quinn, mostly because her mom held her really, really tight every evening this week, and the Pierceâs hugged her in greeting and farewell too whenever she came over to study with Brittany.
(Santana thinks her mom feels guilty most of all, because it wasnât so long ago that Santana grew quiet at home and mean at school and sheâs sure her mom knew about the moments when she would lay on her bed and stare blankly up at the ceiling and wonder and wonder and wonderâ)
Brittany shifts against her as if she can sense Santanaâs thoughts, and they quickly fade and are replaced by Brittanyâs warm breath across her collarbone, eyelashes fluttering against the sensitive skin of her neck. Brittany draws patterns across Santanaâs stomach, hearts and then stars and then their names and then what Santana thinks might be a cat. She nuzzles closer and occasionally points out a constellation and recites everything she knows about the stories behind them, Greek, and then Roman, and then the ones her dad made up for her too.
Stargazing might be the most stereotypical lesbian date ever, but Santana kinda really loves it when Brittanyâs the one stargazing with her.
32!
32. âKeep your eyes on me.â
Brittany knows Santana is nervous, she can feel it in between the bones of Santanaâs hands, in the strong lines of muscle that tense and relax, tense and relax, tense and relax. Santana always talks a big talk, but Brittany knows better than anyone that, more often than not, Santana is absolutely terrified; itâs why Brittany thinks that Santana is bravest person she knows.
Santanaâs fingers twitch in hers, her dark eyes darting all over the dumpy little back room theyâre in, never settling too long on one place. Brittany knows itâs a mall tour, but she also knows that Mercedes is going to be a big star and deserves something better than an Aldo shoe storeroom. Thereâs rows upon rows of stacked shoe boxes, more than Brittanyâs ever seen before, and one of the other dancers has already knocked a stack down, much to their chagrin and the tour managerâs mortification. Brittany had maneuvered her and Santana to the end of the storeroom, far away from the danger of towering boxes, squished up against an old white door, the paint chipped to reveal a dark grey underneath the peeling layers.
She releases Santanaâs hands in order to wrap her in a tight hug, her arms around Santanaâs neck, rocking back on her heels and pulling her completely into her body. Santana lets out a sigh as her own arms come up around Brittany, long and drawn out and fluttery, melting into the strong arms around her. âWhatâs up, buttercup?â Brittany whispers into the dark hair under her chin.
Santana shakes her head against Brittanyâs chest. âNothing, Iâm fiââ she starts and then cuts herself off, hesitating for a long moment before she admits, in her smallest, tinniest, most bashful voice, âIâm a little nervous.â
Brittany gets that, sheâs a little nervous herself, but sheâs also mostly just excited. âYouâll be amazing,â Brittany promises, because if thereâs one thing she knows, itâs that Santana was born with music in her soul just like Brittany was born with it in her bones.
âBut what if I mess up?â Santana asks, a desperate edge to her voice. âWhat if I forget the harmonies or fall off the stage or trip and knock everyone over like a really awful, life-size game of dominoes? Iâm going to mess everything up and theyâll all hate me for forever.â
Brittany smiles affectionately and releases Santana from her embrace so she can cup her jawline instead, running her thumbs over warm cheekbones soothingly, only moving them out of the way so she can press butterfly kisses there. âKeep your eyes on me,â Brittany says, âand everything will be just fine.â
Santana closes her eyes and breathes in deeply, and when she opens them theyâre fierce with determination and love. âOkay,â she says, âLetâs make this show our bitch.â
Brittany laughs and kisses Santana, the butterflies in her stomach fluttering with how much love she has for the girl in her arms (and, maybe, just a little bit of nerves for the first show of the tour). Santana takes her hand as the tour manager announces that itâs time, lacing their fingers together as they follow everyone out of the store room, sending Brittany a smile thatâs a little bit of nerves and a little bit of excitement and a whole lot of adoring love.
ITS YOUR BIRTHDAY??? HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FRIEND!
Yeah it is lol!! Thank you!!!!

born in the USA đşđ¸, thriller, living on a prayer
born in the u.s.a.: whatâs your home town like?
(I See you there with that flag Kurzel đ) Okay so Iâm from a Small Conservative Town (7,000 people when I first moved there when I was five, but itâs jumped up to 14,000 now; fun fact, the university I go to now has more students than there are people in my town) and when I first moved there there were No PoC in either of the two elementary schools (Iâm sure there were other PoC living there though, but I was Young and didnât Notice). So until my best friend and her siblings immigrated from Japan I was known as the Kid with the Brown Dad. Itâs also a lake town and a tourist town (something like 1 million people go through it a year) so the locals Know not to go town in the summer because itâs Stupid Busy, but they make ice rinks on it in the winter which are fun. Once we hit high school there were more PoC but Not Many. And it terms of LGBTQ+ people? Well letâs just say my cousin and I came out after we moved away, and I had one teacher who only told like 5 students that her wife and her were expecting a baby because a lot of the students are like That. I graduated with 163 people and I had either known everyone since kindergarten or since grade 6!! (So smh @RIB being absolute dinosaurs who have apparently never been to a Small Town before)
thriller: favourite film genre and why?
Animation!! I love art and I love the music and I love the voice acting and itâs amazing how much emotion can be conveyed in animated movies when the producers assume that children can understand more than most people think they do and create their movies with intelligence. My favourite companies are Studio Ghibli (Spirited Away and Howlâs Moving Castle are my faves) and Dreamworks (the HTTYD series will forever hold a piece of my heart).
living on a prayer: which was the song of your childhood?
My Earlier childhood it was Crocodile Rock, the entire Annie soundtrack, and All of Shania Twainâs songs; after age five when my mom found the classic rock station in our new town that was All we listened to, so like Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Journey, and Creedence Clearwater Revival
