KYOTO DAY 3 (part 2?/) KURAMADERA
Since I couldn’t find any food in Kibune that was within my budget range (or maybe I just didn’t search well enough), I decided to head up Mt.Kurama a little earlier than planned.
The first stage of the trail was pretty steep, and lots of stairs! Holy crap, I was exhausted and soaked in sweat when I finally arrived at the first Temple building along the course (I think about 20 minutes later)! I really should learn to slowly climb mountains, as to not completely exhaust myself, but then... it was also pretty warm this day
Anyway, they had some benches near the building, so I sat down, dried off and had a little brunch, eating some snacks and the bread I brought with me.
After quite a long rest, because frankly, that was quite a nice spot to sit, I headed on again and thankfully disovered the worst part of the course was behind me! Everything from there until the main temple was still going up (mostly), but the course wasn’t as steep anymore, so I actually got to enjoy my walk! I guess there still was one steeper section in there, but nothing to really take me down!
