{ She's definitely a strong presence in a majority of her relationships, and from what I'm seeing, Irene isn't entirely sure whether she wants a love life or not. }

{ Irene has this unrealistic vision of romance, leading her standards to be very high. I can see that her type is definitely influenced by something, and she looks at her ideal type, then the people around her, then she thinks that none of them are good enough for her. Which is probably very much true, because she's really picky when it comes to people, especially friends. }

{ She's very much afraid of infidelity or her partner getting overly clingy and possessive, because she likes her alone time and isn't entirely ready to sacrifice that. Irene is probably worried about choosing the wrong person and getting manipulated or bullied by this person, like she doesn't want to feel like someone owns her, and feels entitled to her. Now I've come to the conclusion that her high standards are a way of protecting herself from people who may want to hurt her in a romantic relationship. }

{ Okay, so I can see this going in two ways: }

{ 1. She finds someone, but finds out that they're not a great match and they eventually part ways, which might leave Irene with some regret. }

{ 2. She realises that she doesn't really want anyone, and stops looking, but only ends up longing for love even more than she previously did. }

{ There will be some change in perspective, but I'm not entirely sure as to what it'll be. }

{ Basically her love life won't be sad just... Fruitless I guess? }

[Gaze fixated on a spot near her head, Irene smiles brightly at Yui and launches into her fifteenth lame pick-up line of the day.]

"Would you take me to church Hozier-style?"

*Yui covered her face while laughing at the pick-up line which she had no comprehension of, compared to how Irene made her oh-so- flustered with the first three attempts at flirtation, the phrases that followed only made her silent giggle progress into a laugh*

S-Sure, I'll take you to whichever church you want~! It's no problem at all, Irene!

*She calmed down from her brief laughing fit and wiped the tears from her love coloured eyes, then drawing her gaze to Irene*
