I have been posting this very same photo of my niece (far left) during her Kumang appearance for a special state Gawai celebration, for few years now. And the reason is the memories of that particular day was very vivid to me. We had not much at that time. Baju pun pinjam, itupun a lady volunteer to pinjamkan the whole set. I had cheap make up bought from Kenyalang Park 😂. Only Kuching people know haha. When we were at the hotel getting ready, the other girls had their own make up artist with huge make up bag. It was intimidating for me but I held myself together cause i knew back then my niece was nervous and I need to do a superb job on her make up. But we did it, got a lot of praises on the makeup and the whole look. Looking back on that day, really reminded me that spending time with your family member is the best time ever because it's only you and your family against the world. @macybaline that day we had fun❤️.
