I have thought about many things these past few weeks but I don’t think me talking about it now would make a difference bc we have to let it go. But one thing is sure about me is I still stand where I stand.

Now what I want to address here is insecure people around us. I’ll say it no one is forcing anyone to believe or stay in this space you know? Let’s talk a bit about how insecure people are.

First point is

-projection: projecting your own fears, doubts assuming others are lying, might even accuse people of loyalty.

And this happens bc it’s easier to always be septic about something so when things happen you’re like “I said I didn’t believe it 100%”

-Low self esteem: you don’t trust your own judgment and always want someone else opinions to believe something

-Fear of disappointment: you might avoid believing something good bc they’re afraid it won’t last long.

-Trust issues : having past experiences like betrayal, being lied to or abandoned can make them suspicious and doubtful of others words or actions

Need for control: By doubting or refusing to believe, they create a defense mechanism. If they don’t fully trust, they feel less vulnerable if something goes wrong.

So as I said it here this is just what I’ve seen here around.

The thing is if you’re doubtful about something just why don’t you not believe it anymore and leave it instead of always having the need to have something to make you believe that things are real? Just leave no one is forcing you to stay.

you lot have completely forgotten (or chosen to ignore) the fact that the buddy system solely exists to keep the enlisted companions TOGETHER in all cases. and by 'you lot' i mean tkkrs.

the buddy system was created so that people who enlist thru it, stay together in the same division, in the same unit, throughout their whole service. doesnt matter if jungkook is a cook, he's still in the same unit as jimin. he wont be separated from jimin bc surprise surprise THEY ENLISTED THRU THE BUDDY SYSTEM YOU FOOLS

Huh, well, I'll have you know that there are Winkook shippers in my anons who claim otherwise. They claim that wearing the same brand counts as a relationship. They claim that going to a concert is akin to obsession. They claim a coincidence is proof.

My favorite thing about Jikook isn't a single moment, but it's something that's unique to them. Their companionship.

Say you were to find yourself suddenly plunged in the dark, not knowing what was going on or what to do. What would be the first thing on your mind? Even before you take a first tentative step in the dark forward? You'd want to grab a hold of your person. So you'd never be alone, and neither would they. You'd want to be together, especially during uncertain times.

This is what Jimin and Jungkook did when they met. They were both longing for the limelight, unknowing how bright it could be. Then, once they'd stepped unto the stage, they turned around and felt a spark of recognition. They might have smiled an awkward smile at first. Then they'd ask the other 'Are you ok?', 'I'm here if you need someone'. Reassurances like that. Then, 'I can tell something is wrong, lay your head on my shoulder, It's going to be ok.' Once the light threatened to blind them and lock them into a dark place, they grabbed a hold of each others hand and held tight. They knew then they could whisper soft nothings in the dark, and there would always be someone to listen to their lament. Someone who'd never let go. And they never did. They found a very special piece of companionship while battling a storm.

Jimin and Jungkook just love being in the others' orbit. Where you go, I will follow. That, more than all the romantic and sexy and lustful and courageous things the have and will do together, is what will last them a lifetime. What will hold when all else stops.

Youth, just like romance, fades. It takes on a different shape, a different weight in your life, as you age. But true companionship, understanding beyond words, beyond your ability to recall the memories you share, beyond gestures and snippets caught on camera and wrapped inside a glimmer of a performance, beyond the pomp and circumstance, is timeless.

Jikook is timeless. They are gilded. Trapped in amber to live on as two of the greatest friends the limelight ever threatened to blind.

I love Jikook's domestic moments when their voices get low, and it's almost like the cameras aren't their. It's just a couple of dynamics during office hours. And isn't that just what makes these two so engaging? So much of what they do ends up being filmed. So they've learned to adapt to being seen and to be friends first and foremost.

What they have is inside their hearts and they know what it's worth.
