imagine if shadow milk went back to the vanilla kingdom and is in his redemption arc when all his opinions and feelings as the fount start coming back. which, of course, depend on your headcanons, but one thing I think most of us can agree on is that any version of shadow milk is somewhat emotionally inept. so we get stuff like this happening:
pure vanilla: wow hi shadow milk its such a nice day outside!! :) look at that flower, it's so pretty :)
shadow milk (on 2h of sleep and a mug of coffee): yeah pretty annoying
pure vanilla: lets walk over here then, oh wowie look at that tree!! its so nice and green and lush :) oh look there's a bird in the tree!! :D
shadow milk, internally: oh curse you old man and your stupid birds and your stupid flowers
shadow milk, externally: I love you
idk this popped into my head just now. someone cut off my access to the collective shadowvanilla braincell I think its consuming me (it already did)
