My lovelove Peaches has apparently been receiving a lot of hate for speaking out against things that are real: i.e. race, gender, and orientation inequality. And I just want to say that I support her 10,000,000,000,000,000^756.

Wake up, people. Racism is real. Inequality is real. Prejudices are real. The sooner we can all accept that and make a conscious effort to change our ways and do better, the sooner we won't have a need to appeal to guilt. Anyone that's upset at someone for being pro-whatever-the-fuck-they-are is a prick. And someone being pro-them doesn't make them anti-you. Sometimes the only way to be pro-me is to protest the things done to people like me by people like you. That doesn't mean we can't be friends, that means you need to look at the mistakes of those that are like you and choose to be and do better.

Point blank, period, the end.

Some of us, especially those people that I know that are of mixed heritage (which is basically everyone in case you are wondering), just want to live in a world where we can accept that we haven't always done right by each other and choose to move on rather than choosing to ignore the problem and pretend like the issue was never a thing, which is basically what society is trying to do.

Come on people. Everyone here is here because we liked what Tumblr is, a place where like-minded people could get together and make fun of Facebook users. Don't turn this site into a place where we perpetuate hate and allow the journey of one to be buried beneath the intolerance of another. It's not about race here, it's about spreading awareness of how we each feel, and making fun of people that don't belong to Fandoms.
