she’s still thinking about it-- about sleepy I love yous. About the fact that she’s pretending she didn’t hear him. They do well talking about everything and anything on skype-- but they don’t mention it. But she’s thinking about it-- especially when he walks out of the arrival gate. And she doesn’t care that there’s a thousand camera’s flashing in his direction-- she just gives him a wide smile and runs towards him. She half jumps into his arms, her long legs wrapping around his waist.  “Longest fucking 3 days ever.” 

she’s still put together when she shows up at his door-- the only thing that hints at the party she has just left is her slightly tousled hair, otherwise Kemi Grant is the picture of a high fashion barbie.  She rings the door bell without hesitating, and waits fro Kieran to come to the door. Kieran is complicated-- to say the least. He’s the kind of man she used to see-- the kind that used to excite her, back when she was 18 and new to the runway. But now she’s 22, and she’s over the scene. She spends half her time in kitchens-- she doesn’t have time for a rockstar vice but somehow she makes time for him. She always seems to. When it finally opens she smirks at the man standing in front of her.

there’s something to be said for the relief that comes when your water breaks-- she feels like she’s been pregnant for months too long-- so when it happens she smiles. and then she screams. Surprisingly Aria isn’t angry that Kemi possibly destroyed the seats in her car--- and she’s rather comforting when the contractions start in earnest, before they get to the bloody hospital. Kemi doesn’t scream-- when the contractions hit, she just winces and grinds her teeth and digs her too sharp nails into too soft upholstery. The hospital is quick once she gets there, and she opts for the drugs the second they offer them. By the time Dashiel get’s there-- the doctor is murmuring something about getting ready to push--and Kemi has destroyed the hospital mattress with her nails--again. 

“You’re late. I’m about to have your baby--and you’re late. Dashiel Pryor-- what am I going to do with-- FUCK!” A powerful contraction hits and makes continuing her sentence impossible. 

“Are you sure you want to watch my--v-vagina do this? I don’t think you’ll be able to look at it the same. I won’t--” Her nails dig into the mattress again and the doctor comes into her frame of sight and starts talking about pushing.
