I love Cullen and Anders equally lmao but yeah, I have seen the videos of inquisitors telling Cullen to take lyrium again no matter what and it just makes me sick. Like, I get it, you want to go for douchebag of the year award but people don't need to suffer for it. ;-; Also, my mage inquisitor seems to be really close friends with him after saying "no, fuck the lyrium" and honestly Wynne is one of my faves as well but damn.. fuck the circle. Especially because of the whole "I have a spirit --
Inside of me." Like, dude.. Wynne I can obviously see that you want to get the hell away!
Iām gonna try to keep my comments about Cullen to myself since my opinion of him is very negative and I donāt want to be mean in a reply of one of his fans ;v;
As for Wynne... The first time I played dao, I really liked her, but again, at the same time I didnāt really pick up the pro-Circle bullshit she throws at us when talking about it, mostly because I didnāt know enough about the Circle back at the time to truly want them to disappear yet. Plus she is nice to the Warden.
(my first playthroughs are usually me discovering things but perhaps not paying enough attention because there is a lot of things happening, but I do agree now that Iāve replayed dao, and especially the mage origins many times, that you can already spot very fucked up stuff about the Circle early on)
And like, she doesnāt mind the Circles but sheās pretty happy to gain freedom out of having fought the Blight with the Warden, huh...
But itās in Asunder that she bothered me. She is so hypocritical and annoying and I didnāt want her to spew pro-Circle stuff or tell us about how she banged a templar or show that she didnāt want mages to rebel but would become violent if they touched at her son like Thanks for the hypocrisy, mages canāt be violent when their own lives is threatened, unless itās you or your sonās life that is threatened and then you have every right to, hmm?
And (Asunder spoiler!!!)
Iām still so mad they made her die for the sake of a goddamn templar.
You know, I hate how you can pretty much leash Cullen again by making him take lyrium. Something that obviously hurts him... ugh.
So, like, Iām saying that as someone who cares more about a potato than about Cullen (sorry) but that choice is fucked up
Because you can do fucked up shit as Inquisitor because you have way too much power (seriously, you can do such important choices in the life of your companions and stuff and like some choices shouldnāt only rely on you. Example: I donāt feel like I have any right to command Iron Bull to save the Chargers or not. Itās a choice that matters to him and that he should be free to take.)Ā
But as much as I get :/ about Cullen Iād never make him take Lyrium again because this addiction isnāt something Iād wish on anyone.
You remember how we were pissed about the whole "magic exists to serve man...."? I was under the username cosimasass lol but anyway, I noticed that in this current mage playthrough on dai it seems like the dumb bitches don't start saying that line until my mage walks by. It makes me wish even more now that you had the opportunity to tell them to shut the fuck up. It just.. I wonder what the mage is feeling everytime he walks by them. -sobs-
I think I do :00 !
Haha, thatās a rather... funny coincidence, honestly.
But yeah, when you make a warden/hawke/inquisitor that can be the victim of oppression (elven warden/quizzie, circle mage warden/quizzie, apostate mage hawke or dalish mage quizzie), the shit that they probably face in their day to day life really hits you in the face haha.
Seriously Iām gonna rename Dragon AgeĀ āOppression Simulatorā at this point.Ā
