The funniest part is that the reason she looks so alert is that she saw her reflection in one of my picture frames, and then it moved and wigged her out. Bless her dumb little heart.

Evaporated milk is probably the closest American product but it does not appear thick enough since only 40% the water is reduced out.

The can (and consistency of the contents) in the video looks like Media Crema. It’s a Nestle product and, in my area at least, can often be found in the Mexican section of regular grocery stores.

Kiwis on various discussion boards have confirmed evaporated milk is too thin and condensed milk is too sweet, and I think neither have the right fat content, but they’re closer than say, normal cream. Media Crema does look closer than either, though I’m given to understand it might also be rather thin for the purpose. Still, it’s on my list to try.

A friend who moved back after years in New Zealand tells me that Nestle Extra Thick Cream is a good substitute and available here in the USA. I don't often see it at the market but you can order it online.

Oh, that one I hadn’t heard of! I’ll look into it.

Autumn mix is the only way to buy mallowcream. Candy corn on its own: ��. Add some pumpkins & the fake waxy flavors come alive.

I do like the pumpkins best, but I will happily eat candy corn on its own as well. I like to bit the bases off first. :D

I don’t know if that’s the material or the brand name, but pretty much. I mean I always just called it all candycorn, but it says Mallowcreme on the package.

Halloween is “coming early” this year -- candy makers and decoration makers are putting stuff on shelves 4-6 weeks ahead of when they normally do, to try and make the most profit off a holiday that’s probably going to be very different this year. They’re focusing on small family-sized bags of snacks and big, easily visible decorations you can see from a car.

Do you use a specific app to transfer pics between an iPhone and a windows pc? I’d love to learn how to do this.

Well, I have it set up so that when I connect my phone, Windows automatically downloads the images, which I prefer to using iTunes because there’s never any danger of it backwards syncing and erasing everything. So I’m not using an app. But I don’t know how I did it, and also I’m using an iPhone 6 with Windows 7, which are both ancient by tech terms. If you google for your iphone number, your windows version, and “transfer photos using windows” you should be able to find a tutorial, though! (But don’t trust any tutorial that tells you to download software, you don’t need software to do it.)

this caused me to google milwaukee and it's a city near chicago? i thought it was a state and like,idk, more isolated?

You may have been thinking of Minnesota, which apparently people mix up with Milwaukee regularly :D But yes, it’s just a city in Wisconsin, not its own state, and there’s a pretty fast train that goes there.
