“Hi, Vik.”

“It’s good to see you, Ginevra.” Hearing his light accent gives her goosebumps, and he hasn’t even touched her yet. He rarely speaks in his scenes, and it feels different - special, even, that he’s using verbal foreplay with her.

She crawls on the bed before she chickens out, and straddles him with a soft, awkward laugh.

“How are you?” Vik asks, reaching for a lock of her hair. “It's been a while.”

Ginny wishes they weren't filming, that the cameras would disappear. She wants to catch up with Vik for real. Because the years have done him very, very good — and she wants to show him all the ways she’s gotten better, too.

“I’ve been busy,” she settles on saying.

“I know.” His tone is neutral, but his eyes are possessive. Ginny thrills at the implication.

“Been watching my scenes, have you?” She runs her hand down his arm.

“I must admit, I prefer your solo performances.”

“Why?” she asks, entranced by his lips.
