Fizzing with the electronic fury of Sweden’s Kriget, whose name translates to “The War”, is their latest track and their first non-instrumental piece titled “OCD”. Featuring elusive Stockholm internet diva Sophia Somajo, the track is a statement about the frivolities of life, or as the band states:

“'OCD' is about our inability to exist in real life. We are fiction."

While the song is very much Kriget’s own creation with the bubbling of their cold-wave electronics, Somajo’s vocals are front and center as she glosses over with the emotion of her vocal powerhouse. It’s a decidedly minimal for a disorder about being overly detailed-orientated, but I guess having a neat and tidy track is being obsessive-compulsive itself.
