Knitters say to put your thoughts for the garment into each stitch.

I’m going on vacation in a few weeks and will be leaving on the night of the full moon so I did this spell on the new moon with the power of the eclipse and Friday the 13th as well. I recommend casting it during a phase that you feel is right!

Ingredients:

Amethyst chips

Moonstone chips

Tiger’s Eye chips

Dried lavender bulbs

Candle drippings of a candle burned during a meaningful moment.

Candle purple for intuition, ambition, healing, wisdom, progress, protection, and self-assurance. This for when you are simply travelling in general

Candle red for strength, power, energy, health, vigor, enthusiasm, courage, passion, and survival. This for when you are adventuring or questing.

Please note that I’m Hellenic and you can change literally anything that doesn’t work for you.

If you want to cast a circle, do it now.

Cover the bottom of the jar with a layer of amethyst chips.

“Amethyst, gem of fire, who innocently felt the wrath of Dionysus, turned purple by his creation. I beseech you to stimulate and soothe my mind and emotions. Protect me from over-indulgence and gift me with intelligence. Keep me protected on my travel, aide me in my thriving.”

If adventuring I recommend adding Moonstone here.

“Moonstone, ancient one. Guided by Artemis, her wild dance on the mountains shakes the night to the clash of deer’s antlers. Protect me on my travels, calm and encourage me. Help to follow the natural rhythms of life and always find sure footing on this uncertain path.”

Add tigers eye.

“Tiger’s eye, always forgotten, always needed. You are luck and safety. I ask that you provide me saftey as I travel somewhere new and luck that my plane, train, or automobile is always just on time.”

Add lavender bulbs.

“Lavender, great calmer, prevent depression and anxiety. Help me to sleep under the protection of Artemis and her moon. With your sweetness on my tongue and love in my heart I travel well rested.”

Add appropriate sized chunks of wax drips for your jar.

“Wax, dripped from a candle burned during a peaceful moment as (insert why the moment was important and comforting). I ask that in this time of uncertainty during the new moon and eclipse that you help me like you to turn from what I used to be into something new.”

Add sea salt(or dirt if you’re a green witch or other small item that’s important to your craft).

“Salt, essential to my mother ocean, I ask that you absorb all ill will from any being that I cross on my journey.”

Offer libation to your travel deity if you have one(mines Hermes).

“Mighty Hermes, great god of travel I ask for your protection as I leave my home and head for an unfamiliar place. I ask that you watch my back and bless my feet. I thank you for you power, protection, and guidance of the world’s winding paths.”

Light the candle color that you need and seal the bottle.

When the wax is cooled,

“I travel forth.”
