After Leon had left Spain, the entire area had been cleared, Las Plagas eradicated.

So what was right in front of him shouldn't have been possible. This wasn't just some creature, not just some random experiment or freak of nature.

It was Krauser.

Not a gasp, not a cough could be heard; the gathering was silent as the grave, although some participants fought a mighty battle with their facial muscles as they waited for a reaction from either party. It wasn’t a long time coming.' -.-.- It's time for the annual charity gala on the base. Leon doesn't know whether to be happy about the chance to dance with Jack Krauser or dread it; the man himself is less than thrilled

Everything was dark, disorienting, no memory of how he got there.

A hundred hands were on him, dressing him in silky fabrics, covering his eyes. His arms were stretched out, his head lolling back.

He thought he could see himself from the outside.

An altar, robes that seemed almost sacrificial. Blindfolded, his chest bare, the garments flowing as if underwater.

Kreonweek day 7 - Rimming. I know you can feel it.

That was what Krauser had said, and when Leon reached the large ornate doors, he thought he understood what Krauser had meant.

They seemed ancient and out of place from what Leon had seen of the island. There was nothing military about them, if anything they seemed almost ceremonial. That idea was only heightened by the pair of braziers flanking the doors.

He supposed it was a fitting reunion.
