because of killer's excess of DT (thanks to his soul being fused with Chara's), and dream's veery powerful positivity, ruya's magic struggles to he contained in her body. her bones are hollow and full of a weird mix between dream's magic and killer's, hence the glowing cracks. her eyesockets are bright and glowing because a large amount of magic concentrates up there.

the cracks can get painful and make it difficult to move at times, so she has a staff-looking cane for when she needs something to lean on.
