Inktober 2017 - Day 01 - Swift Well then, here we go again ! I can barely believe it has already been a year since my very first Inktober (especially when my drawing skills are still as bad as ever). Anyway, this year’s prompts will prove to be very challenging in a good way, I’m sure ! For this first theme, “Swift”, I decided to draw on the spot an old original character of mine from my Code Lyoko fanfiction : New Wave. Stephanie, as she appears here in her Lyoko suit, is a young woman full of life whose avatar turns her into a gothic lolita. She uses giant sewing needles as weapons and is able to master the power of the “Pixoflame”, a capacity allowing her to burn her ennemies (like the Krabe in this illustration) with strange pixelated flames, damaging their Life Points bit by bit. Also, her main vehicule happens to be Ulrich’s Overbike, because of her ability to let go of her earthly fears on Lyoko to become quite the reckless warrior. As usual, I’ll try to upload each piece of this year’s Inktober as soon as possible and on time. In the meantime, enjoy this first one for what my rusty ink is worth.
